Man nearly crushed between two semi trucks [PHOTO\VIDEO] and survives 26 car pileup in Oregon, On a foggy icy Oregon interstate, a driver survived being sandwiched by two tractor trailers during a chain reaction crash caused by black ice on the road.

If you look close in the photo below, you'll see Kaleb Whitby's head. The 27-year-old was part of a 26 car pileup over the weekend that resulted in a dozen injuries and closure of portions of Interstate 84 on Saturday.

Whitby wasn't able to stop in time after a semi truck jackknifed on the slick roads. He slammed into the side of the big rig, causing his pickup truck to flip over.

"It was just metal crunching and glass. It was just all fast and loud," Kaleb Whitby, 27, told CNN. "I got scared of the possibility it could have been the end."

Then the real horror came: the sight of another tractor-trailer zooming straight toward him.

Whitby's vehicle was crushed into a fraction of its original size, but fortunately he only suffered minor cuts and bruises.

"This is the biggest crash I have seen in a while," Oregon State Police Sgt. Kyle Hove told CNN. "It was extremely slick out there. One semi that spun around on the black ice started the chain reaction...It's surprising no one died in this."
